Food security is a measure of the availability of food irrespective of class, gender or region and individual's ability to access it. Food security is defined as availability of sufficient, safe, and nutritious food at all times to all people physically, socially, and economically that meets their food preferences and dietary needs for an active and healthy life.
The provision of an ample amount of essential nutrients to human beings has ever been the challenge in the sphere of food security. Hence, malnutrition is greatly linked to food security, yet difficult to be eliminated.
